During the MTV Video Music Awards on September 12th at the New Jersey’s Prudential Center, Chris Brown was nominated for an award and Selana Gomez could be seen scrunching her face during the announcement. Selena was also seen as being very surprised during Olvia Rodrigo’s performance, especially during the “exploding lights” interruption of Rodrigo’s performance. Based on reactions in the crowd and around the world, Gomez wasn’t the only one who was shocked by the performance.
